Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Authority. Peter Malone, from Dundalk, Co Louth, has had a wide-ranging and distinguished career. He is Chairman of the National Roads Authority since 2002, and holds other positions including Chairman of CBRE Gunne Property Group, Chairman of Business Tourism Forum and Chairman, Dundalk Economic Development Group. In addition, he is currently a member of the Government Review Body on Higher Remuneration in the Public Sector. Mr Malone is a former Chairman of Hibernian Group. Earlier in his career, Mr Malone was Managing Director of Jurys Doyle Hotel Group following which he took up a position as non-executive director with the group until 2005. Mr Malone has also held the positions of Chairman of Board na Mona plc, Director, CPL Recruitment plc; and Director, Ulster Bank Limited.
