UL Access Initiatives for Disadvantaged Students
published on Sep 03rd, 2010
The UL Access Office works to promote and support the participation of students from disadvantaged groups who have been under-represented in the University sector. The work of the Access Office may be broadly categorised into three areas: pre-entry school activities, post-entry student support, and outreach work in the community.
The Access Office has a a variety of support services ranging from academic and personal supports to financial supports, such as scholarships, to assist students who otherwise might not be able to afford to attend university.
The Access Office needs your support, so that it can continue with these worthwhile initiatives to encourage participation in third level from under-represented groups.
