Downer Scholarship ‘09

Aine Sheridan from Dunmore, Co. Galway was this year's recipient of the Edith & Leslie Downer Scholarship.

Aine was presented her award at UL recently by Professor Roger Downer, President Emeritus of UL.  The Edith and Lesley Downer Scholarship was set up by Professor Downer as an endowment fund in memory of his mother and father to fund a scholarship in the field of nursing.

Aine was a student of Dunmore Community College, Dunmore, Co. Galway and is now studying for the B.Sc in Nursing (General) at UL.
