The Irish language version of Frank McCourt’s, Angela’s Ashes, ‘Luaithreach Angela’ was launched in New York on November 15th. Ellen McCourt stated that this translation would have ‘found a place in Frank’s heart’.

UL President, Professor Don Barry, has announced details of the Bernal Project at the University, which will involve the recruitment of ten world-class professors in the Faculty of Science & Engineering and the construction of a new facility to accommodate the associated research.
