The University of Limerick and NUI Galway have entered into an institution-wide strategic alliance across all of the key areas of activity including teaching, research, technology transfer, lifelong learning and the provision of services.
The objective of the alliance is to better support the social and economic development of our wider region by combining the strengths of the two Universities so as to increase the quantity and quality of our collaborative research and teaching, to further develop industrial, business and other partnerships, to ensure the most effective use of our combined resources, and to enhance the international standing of both Universities.
