The Plassey Society
THE PLASSEY SOCIETY was established by the University of Limerick Foundation in association with the University and is open to individuals and organisations seeking to support the University as it works to fulfil its vision.
Membership is granted to individuals making unrestricted annual gifts of at least €/$1,000 and to organisations making unrestricted annual gifts of at least €/$3,000.
The first 100 members will be permanently recognised as Founding Members.
Plassey Society membership fees will generate unrestricted funds in support of the Foundation and its efforts to advance the University of Limerick. Examples of how funds will be used are as follows:
- Scholarships for academically outstanding students
- Scholarships to provide university access to economically disadvantaged students
- Research grants and bursaries for faculty and graduate students
